EVENT: The Official Launch of the Ethiopian Tax Research Network

The Ethiopian Tax Research Network (ETRN) is a new initiative of the International Center for Tax and Development (ICTD) funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The goal of the ETRN is to support the generation and exchange of tax knowledge in Ethiopia, with stakeholders including tax practitioners and researchers from Ethiopian and international organizations.
The event will begin with introductory remarks by His Excellency Dr Abraham Tekeste (Minister of Finance and Economic Cooperation of Ethiopia), followed by a keynote by Professor Mick Moore (CEO of the International Center for Tax and Development (ICTD)).
The afternoon will feature research and policy panels, with a variety of presentations of work done on taxation and development in Ethiopia.
