ADDIS ABABA (The Ethiopian Herald) – Admas University has graduated 4,551 students, who have been attending their education in ten campuses of the University across the country, with Bachelor’s degree as well as technical and vocational training programs.
It was learnt that 1,997 of the graduated students have been graduated with Bachelor’s degree and the remaining with technical and vocational training programs. And, out of the total graduates, 3,098 (68%) are females.
During the graduation ceremony, Admas University’s President Molla Tsegay (PhD) said that the University has been playing an important role in producing trained/skilled human resources that is greatly needed in the country’s development activities.
Accordingly, over the past 22 years, the University has graduated over 80,000 students with Bachelor’s degree, diploma, and certificate programs, Dr. Molla said. In addition to Ethiopia, the University has become popular academic institution in Somaliland and Puntland, he added.
According to Dr. Molla, along with the regular teaching learning process, the University is contributing its part in providing short term trainings and counseling services, as well as conducting national and international studies and research and informing community of research findings.
He further noted that the University will launch doctorate degree programs when it completes the preconditions required in accordance with the guidance of the FDRE Education and Training Authority.
Addressing the ceremony, Ethiopian Employers’ Confederation President Getahun Hussien (Eng.) since its establishment in 2018, the University has been playing an important role in the development of science and technology and creation of jobs in the country. He also called on the graduates to do their best for their families, surroundings, and country.
