Intercontinental-Addis Hotel’s revolving restaurant lights up Ethiopia’s hospitality sector
ADDIS ABABA (CGTN Africa)–The Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa has a new feature that will make your head spin. The country has its very first revolving restaurant at the existing Intercontinental-Addis Hotel in Kassanchiz area. CGTN’s Girum Chala went along for the ride, and filed this report.
With 10 floors, the hotel has 152 rooms, out of which 1 is Presendital Suite, 4 VIP Suites, 28 Corner/Junior Suites, 30 Twin bed rooms, and 89 King Deluxe rooms, of which some are for physically challenged guests, Intercontinental-Addis is one of the preferable 5-star hotels in the country.
The restaurants at the Hotel offer the best multi cuisine, Indian gourmet cuisine; banqueting and conference facilities can accommodate up to 20-120 people, plus smaller meeting rooms all with conference facilities. The Hotel also offers a fully equipped business center with access to the internet, health club with gym, steam bath, and sauna; there is also a magnificent pool on the roof top, and a private health club. The quality of the hotel and its scenery from the rooftop will turn any business trip into a breathtaking visit to remember.
