The 6th International Conference on Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices, which will take place on 16-17 November, 2016, is organized, in partnership, by EPOSPEA and the Ministry of Trade.
Addis Ababa (ENA)–The Ministry of Trade (MoT) has disclosed that an upcoming 6th International Conference on Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices will widen the opportunity to access foreign markets for the export items.
The ministry in partnership with the Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds and Spices Processors-Exporters Association (EPOSPEA) is organizing the 6th International marketing Conference on 16-17 November, 2016 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Chairman of the association Mr. Haile Berhe said the conference aims at creating network and market opportunities among sellers and buyers as well as serves as a platform to share information and experience.
According to the chairman, the international conference will contribute to the social and economic development of the country as it sets the ground to promote Ethiopian produced export items to international buyers.

Image building is also among the goals of the event as participants will get first hand information and witness in person the ongoing efforts to transform the socio-economic status of the country.
Inputs from the conference will be utilized in increasing the amount and quality of pulses, oilseeds and spices export.
Export Promotion Director General with the Ministry of Trade Mr. Assefa Mulugeta on his part indicated that leading producers and exporters in the field will be among the 430 partakers of the event.
Somalia, China, the Netherlands, the U.S.A., Germany and UK are among the top export destinations for pulses, oilseeds and spices produced in Ethiopia.
