ADDIS ABABA (Semonegna): Ethiopia set to host African Innovation Week from 28th October – 02 November 2019 in Addis Ababa organized by IBA Ethiopia Center for Innovation and Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Ethiopia.
Minister of Innovation and Technology, Dr.-Ing. Getahun Mekuria, and IBA Ethiopia’s delegation led by the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia Hailemariam Desalegn emphasized that this landmark event is principally geared towards promoting Ethiopia, and Africa as a whole, as a destination for innovation and technology. Nordic and international investors, venture capitalists, innovators and international organizations will participate in the event.
According to IBA Ethiopia Center for Innovation, the upcoming African Innovation Week event will have a focus in promoting the participation of women in innovation in Africa.
