ADDIS ABABA (Semonegna.com)–The National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency (NEAEA) has announced on Thursday (August 31, 2017) the cut-points of the 12th grade national examination results to enter to higher institutions (esp. public universities). [1] Natural Sciences stream
◙ Regular and evening-shift students
- Male: 352 and above
- Female: 330 and above
◙ Rural and agriculture-oriented areas students
- Male: 320 and above
- Female: 305 and above
◙ Deaf and hard of hearing students
- Both sexes: 275 and above
◙ Students who took the examination privately
- Male: 360 and above
- Female: 355 and above
[2] Social Sciences stream
◙ Regular and evening-shift students
- Male: 335 and above
- Female: 320 and above
◙ Rural and agriculture-oriented areas students
- Male: 315 and above
- Female: 300 and above
◙ Deaf and hard of hearing students
- Both sexes: 275 and above
◙ Students who took the examination privately
- Male: 360 and above
- Female: 355 and above
The Agency has also announced that the results of the 10 grade examination will be released next week on September 4 and 5, 2017. (You can check results NEAEA on the Agency’s website)
