NEAEA: The 2017 NEAEA Grade 10 Exam Result Released

The National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency announced the NEAEA Grade 10 exam result for students who took the examination in the 2016-2017 academic year.

ADDIS ABABA (Semonegna.com)–The National Educational Assessment and Examinations Agency (NEAEA) announced on Wednesday (September 6, 2017) the official release of results for the 2017 (2009 E.C.) grade 10 General School Leaving Certificate Examination (EGSLCE) results.

Students who took the exam during the academic year can access their personal results (“NEAEA Grade 10 exam result”) on the Agency’s official website using the following link: http://www.neaea.gov.et/Home/Student.

The Agency has already announced last week (Thursday, August 31, 2017) the cut-points of the 12th grade national examination results to enter to higher institutions.

About 1.2 million students took the grade 10 national exams (a little off of 50% of these students are female), with another 288,000 preparing for the grade 12 university entrance exams that will take place next week. The Ministry of Education has recently announced that 44 public universities, which are found in the nine regions and two chartered cities of the country, have finalized preparations to enroll new students as of late September for the coming academic year. According to the ministry, nine of these are new universities which will be enrolling students for the first time.
