Over 2,000 coffee stakeholders meet in Addis Ababa for the 15th African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition

CGTN Africa: Over 2,000 coffee stakeholders meet in Addis Ababa

The 15th African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition has opened in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. Over two thousand coffee exporters, roasters, traders, producers and connoisseurs from the continent and beyond will be discussing how to reshape the industry. The event will also feature exhibits from across the value chain, including traders and coffee tech providers. However, Ethiopian President, Mulatu Teshome pointed to the events significance to small scale coffee farmers at the opening ceremony.

The African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition is Africa’s largest coffee trade platform that – over the three days of the event – brings over 2000 regional and international coffee roasters, traders, producers, professionals and connoisseurs under one roof!

The 15th African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition will be held from 15th to 17th February 2017 at the Millenium Hall, in the heart of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, one of Africa’s specialty coffee countries.

The event will have a fantastic line-up of international and regional internationally acclaimed speakers, spouse programs, coffee field visits and recreational activities.
