ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (CGTN Africa)–An Ethiopian software engineer & entrepreneur has developed a new gaming system which uses his bike as a controller. Daniel Getachew received his BSc degree, in computer science, from Madda Walabu University (MWU) and his MSc degree, software engineering, from Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU). And he’s put it to good use — designing a video game that’s played simply by getting on his bike. Coletta Wanjohi of CGTN Africa has this story (video).
Daniel Getachew was also featured in Addis Television’s (Addis TV) “Addis Neger Show” in 2016 presenting his innovations as well as software contributions to Madda Walabu University’s IT system. You can watch the show by clicking here.
